Colorado Sen. Udall to give federal policy update at annual "BioScience Day at the Capitol" on Jan. 23

DENVER - U.S. Senator Mark Udall will provide a federal policy update during "BioScience Day at the Capitol" set for Jan. 23 and hosted by the Colorado BioScience Association.

The Colorado Democrat is expected to speak about 10:30 a.m. during the annual event that gives bioscience company representatives a chance to meet state officials and hear updates on CBSA policies and proposed legislation.

The sixth annual event will also include a "Women in Bioscience" panel discussion. The panel, moderated by Dr. Kathleen Traylor, Amgen, will include Heather Potters, PharmaJet; TinTin Su, Suvica; and Brenda Fielding, Clinipace.

The event is free but registration is required.
