Technology-related businesses dominate Top 10 on Inc. list of fastest-growing Colorado companies

COLORADO - Seven out of the Top 10 fastest-growing companies in Colorado are technology-related, all with three-year growth at more than 1,000 percent.

Denver-based Altitude Digital Partners, a digital advertising firm, was highest on the state list with 4,380 percent growth.

"It's hard to believe that three years ago this company was founded with just $500," said Jeremy Ostermiller, Altitude CEO. "This most recent honor puts us in an exclusive and unique place of not only working with some of the most successful companies in America but now being ranked among them."

Coming in second on the Colorado list was Fort Collins-based OtterBox, maker of protective cases for mobile communications devices and other gear. Otterbox, founded in 1998, reported 3,312 percent growth in the 2008-2011 period.

"Making the Inc. 500 list is an honor and being among an elite group of multi-year recipients is humbling," said Brian Thomas, OtterBox president and CEO.

This year marks the fifth time OtterBox has been honored by inclusion in Inc. Magazine's fastest-growing companies rankings.

Other technology-related companies in the Top 10 of Colorado companies making the list were Denver-based Rivet Software; Denver-based Tempus Nova, a Google Premier Partner and Google Apps Reseller; Greenwood Village-based Motivity Solutions, an innovator in the mortgage industry; Greenwood Village-based Recondo Technology, a platform provider for the health care industry; and Lafayette-based Votigo, a social marketing platform company.

Following are the Top 10 Colorado fastest-growing companies according to Inc. Magazine's rankings, which list the top 5,000 companies nationwide:
