On the weekend of May 31, designers, coders, hackers and creative people descended on Galvanize in Denver to hack and build apps to improve Colorado in many categories including health and wellness, sports and fitness, tourism, sustainability, veterans and education.

Nearly 100 hackers attended the weekend-long hackathon, where 18 teams across 6 themes were scored by 10 judges and awarded $17,300 in cash and over $2,700 in raffles.

Onlookers from government, sponsors, education and the general public were inspired. Watch this video to see why.
