LOVELAND - The second annual NoCo Mini Maker Faire is set for this weekend, Oct. 4-5, at the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation and Technology in Loveland.
The family-friendly event will feature indoor and outdoor exhibits by do-it-yourself local makers and inventors, hands-on demonstrations and ongoing presentations throughout the weekend spread over 100,000 square feet in RMCIT, 815 14th St. SW.
Other attractions include a BrickBuilder Expo, a Youth Entrepreneurship Showcase, a six-foot robotic 3D printing arm and the fire-breathing, laser-shooting 30-foot Robot Resurrection.
Greg Guler, a character designer for Walt Disney, will speak on Sunday at 1 p.m. Guler is lead designer for the TV show Phineas and Ferb and other Disney shows and will share his drawing techniques.
Hours for the Faire are 10-5 on Saturday and 10-3 on Sunday.
Last year's inaugural NoCo Mini Maker Faire drew thousands of visitors, making it the largest such event in Colorado and the region.
