Wednesday June 18, 2014 0 commentsBOULDER -- Boulder is about to launch six promising new technology startups - the first group to complete Boomtown Boulder's intensive 12-week accelerator program.
The Boomtown Demo Day will feature each of the six companies as they unveil the latest breakthroughs in facial recognition, home automation, wearable technology, content marketing, image processing and connected devices.
"Boomtown Demo Day is a unique opportunity for investors, the media, and members of the community to come together and see what can happen when six promising startups collaborate and work with expert mentors over an intensive, 12-week period," said Toby Krout, co-founder and co-director of Boomtown.
"I couldn't be more pleased with the potential and progress of the Boomtown companies. We have some exciting announcements to make on the first ever Demo Day."

Boomtown was founded in 2013 by a group of media, marketing and technology veterans, including former Crispin Porter + Bogusky (now CP+B) principal Alex Bogusky.
Boomtown Boulder aims to discover and support promising Internet, mobile and software startups, primarily in the media, design, marketing and ad tech sectors that use technology or analytics to redefine media and the relationship between people and brands. Designed as a seed-stage tech accelerator, Boomtown Boulder nurtures selected startups through a 12-week mentoring program.
