Fort Collins Startup Week gears up for tons of fun, activities, discussions, music and business pitches

Tuesday, May 20
Futurist Gerd Leonhard will kick off the week on May 20 with a keynote address from noon to 1:30 p.m. at 144 N. Mason St.
One-to-one startup mentoring sessions will be offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8-10 a.m. at 253 Linden St.
A free opening night "Rock the Square" concert featuring Shatterproof will be held in Old Town Square from 7-10 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21
1 Million Cups business pitches will be presented from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at 200 Mathews St.
A panel discussion on "The State of Capital Access in Colorado," moderated by Cooley LLP, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at 200 Mathews St.
Thursday, May 22
A panel discussion on "Startup Financial Fundamentals for Growth" will be held from 2-3 p.m. at 200 Mathews St.
A "Startup Crawl," sponsored by Built in Colorado, will be held from 3:30-9:30 p.m. at 320 E. Vine St.
Innovation After Hours, a monthly tech-oriented program by Innosphere, will be held at 4 p.m. at Innosphere's offices, 320 E. Vine St.
Friday, May 23
"The Future of Life: Agriculture and the Internet of Things" presented by VHG and INEX Advisors will be held from 9 a.m. until noon at the CSU Powerhouse Energy Campus, 430 N. College Ave.
"A Powerhouse of Innovation," hosted by InnovatioNews and featuring panel discussions and tours of the new CSU Powerhouse Energy Campus, 430 N. College., is set for noon to 2 p.m.
From 1-4 p.m., a "Steetcar Named Desire" will feature business pitches by collegiate entrepreneurs on the Fort Collins Municipal Railway historic trolley.
Saturday, May 24
The first Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge, offering $250,000 to the business with the best pitch, will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lincoln center, 417 W. Magnolia St.
An Angel Capital Symposium is slated in conjunction with the BOEC event from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The final BOEC competition will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Lincoln Center.
Most Fort Collins Startup Week events are free, but some require registration.
