Tuesday July 30, 2013 0 commentsDENVER - Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTI) and Wayin, a social hub platform, announced they have teamed up with the Denver Broncos to provide sponsorship and fan services.
Ascent's agreement with the Denver Broncos Football Club adds the Thornton developer of consumer solar products to a group of 'Hometown Sponsors,' a deal that includes in-stadium advertising rights.
"The Broncos have arguably one of the best, most loyal and most respected fan bases in the history of the NFL, and Ascent is extremely proud to be a partner of the Broncos to bring our revolutionary, flexible solar integrated products to the forefront of consumers' consciousness, both here in Colorado - famously known as Bronco Country - and across the United States," said Victor Lee, Ascent's president and CEO.
As part of the agreement, Ascent will sponsor a new technology zone inside and around Sports Authority Field at Mile High and receive advertising within the new and fully integrated IPTV system that plays across 1,100 HD TVs throughout the stadium.
"The Denver Broncos are proud to have Ascent Solar as a hometown partner with the team and incorporate them within the new technology zone this season," said Dennis Moore, Broncos VP of sales and marketing.
The Broncos are also partnering with Denver-based Wayin to create a new social engagement hub. The customizable platform creates a single point of access for fans by visualizing fan, player and team-generated social content.
By including hashtags, media key terms and Twitter handles, the Denver Broncos hub will drive in-the-moment media engagement for fans and players, Wayin said.
Fans are encouraged to begin using the hub by using the hashtag #Broncoscamp.
