BOULDER - BlogFrog's Million Moms influencer marketing campaign has been named to the 2012 Shortlist for the International Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions, the company announced.
The shortlist is comprised of campaigns that have been recognized as redefining the future of media, BlogFrog said.
"It's a great honor to see the Million Moms Challenge influencer marketing campaign included in the International Awards shortlist," said Holly Hamann, BlogFrog's co-founder and CMO.
"The Million Moms Challenge is a great example of how our influencer marketing platform not only maximizes digital marketing efforts, but can help scale education, inspiration and awareness around topics that are life-changing on a global level."
ABC News and the United Nations Foundation wanted to connect millions of moms in the U.S. with moms in developing countries to drive awareness and action around issues affecting mothers and babies everywhere.
BlogFrog's influencer marketing platform helped identify and engage more than 800 influencers around the world who created brand-hosted content.
BlogFrog said the program not only reached its goal of activating a million people but also reached 15.3 million blog readers.
