DENVER - MyRounding took the top prize of $25,000 at the 2014 Colorado Digital Health Challenge held Tuesday at CSU Denver.
MyRounding is a company that develops, markets and sells software solutions for health care organizations.
Taking second-place prize of $15,000 was RxREVU, which helps health care companies with cost-saving recommendations on chronic medications, and the $10,000 third-place prize went to Caring in Place, a company that trains family members to become family caregivers for aging loved ones.
The pitch competition was the final pitch event for the Finance Track of PrIME Health Collaborative's Digital Health Challenge.
There were 15 companies in competition before the top three were announced. Prizes were awarded by PrIME in partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation.
The event was billed as a pre-event to Colorado BioScience Association's BioWest 2014 conference, set for Wednesday, Sept. 10.
The final pitch event for the Access Track of PrIME Health Collaborative's "Digital Health Challenge @ Denver Startup Week" will be held Sept. 17 at INDUSTRY.
The contest is the first in the West catering to early-stage digital health and health information technology companies.
PrIME said the Colorado Digital Health Challenge "seeks to curate and vet the best and brightest digital health companies in Colorado."
