CBSA announces finalists for top awards at 10th anniversary awards dinner Nov. 7 in Denver

Colorado Bioscience Association logoDENVER - The Colorado BioScience Association announced it has selected the finalists for the 2013 "Company of the Year" and "Rising Star" awards to be presented during CBSA's Annual Awards Dinner on Nov. 7.

Company of the Year finalists include:

  • Allosource,, Centennial

  • Clovis Oncology Inc., Boulder

  • Medtronic Navigation, Louisville

Rising Star finalists are:

  • AmideBio, Boulder

  • BaroFold, Aurora

  • Surefire Medical Inc., Westminster

  • VetDC, Fort Collins

"The Colorado BioScience Association is excited to celebrate our 10-year anniversary during this year's Annual Awards Dinner, and the many achievements the community has made in 2013," said April Giles, CBSA president and CEO.

"The event provides a forum to honor and recognize noteworthy milestones, with Company of the Year and Rising Star awards highlighting major accomplishments for bioscience companies in Colorado."

Additional awards to be announced at the event include:

  • Business Partner of the Year Award

  • Educator of the Year Award

  • Volunteer of the Year Award

  • Pioneering Award

  • Founders Award

  • Visionary Award

  • Institute Leadership Award

The 2013 Awards Dinner will be held at the Marriott City Center, 1701 California St.

Tickets and tables are on sale now. Individual tickets are $150 each, with tables of eight $1,250 for CBSA members and $1,500 for nonmembers.
