BOULDER - Global bandwidth infrastructure services provider Zayo Group LLC and Galvanize - a Denver-based network of urban campuses for digital innovators - announced a collaborative effort to bolster Galvanize's network with Zayo's multi-Gigabit fiber network.
"The digital ecosystem is a critical ingredient to a vibrant tech startup and learning environment," said Chris Morley, Zayo's president of sales and marketing.
"We believe our services will enable the success of Galvanize members as well as provide us early exposure to future technology leaders who may become great long-term Zayo customers."
Galvanize community members at campus locations in Denver, Boulder and San Francisco now have access to services typically out of reach for smaller startups, including advice from expert mentors and investors and entrepreneur-focused workshops.
Zayo said its scalable data center, cloud services, Internet connectivity and virtually unlimited bandwidth enables startup entrepreneurs to adapt the latest technologies, collaborate more effectively and ultimately grow their businesses.
"Bandwidth is like oxygen to startups - it's absolutely critical to a company's success," said Jim Deters, Galvanize co-founder and CEO.
"Many of our members have teams working on multiple campuses. Creating a world-class infrastructure to support the communication and connectivity between members and across campuses is part of our mission."
