EVERGREEN - Wowza Media Systems LLC, a provider of Simply Powerful Streaming media server software, announced it has acquired Camfoo GmbH, a leading solution for managing cloud-based media streaming.
Wowza said the acquisition amplifies its commitment to providing both small and large customers with the simplicity, cost-efficiency and scalability of the cloud.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The Camfoo team has developed, implemented and delivered more than 1,000 streaming media projects since 2006 and has powered some of the largest live media events on the Internet, including major music festivals and the British royal wedding.
"Wowza products have been used by Camfoo for several years," said David Stubenvoll, Wowza's co-founder and CEO.
"Integrating Camfoo's automation technology provides customers the simplest and most robust way to manage cloud streaming."
