DENVER - WeFi Inc. has been recognized for its information and marketing services by receiving a Fierce Innovation Award from the publishers of FierceWireless, FierceTelecom and FierceCable, the company announced.
WeFi received top honors for its WeANDSF UXT Platform in the "Mobile Network: Service Delivery" competition category.
Winners were selected by a panel of judges that included Stephen Bye, Sprint CTO; Mattias Fridstrom, TellaSonera International vice president; Abhi Ingle, AT&T vice president of ecosystem and innovation; Tom Nagel, Comcast Cable senior vice president of business development and strategy for communications and data services; Todd Smith, Cox Communications director of media relations; and Jim Wales, Verizon executive director of networks.
Submissions were evaluated on technology innovation, financial impact, market validation and end-user customer experience.
