UQM logoLONGMONT - UQM Technologies announced its PowerPhase HD electric drive systems have been selected to power FedEx Express electric delivery vans in Boulder.

The systems will be supplied to Boulder EV, a green-tech manufacturing company that builds all-electric delivery trucks and cargo vans.

"We just introduced the PowerPhase HD 220 electric drive system last month at EVS26 and have been selected to power the Boulder EV delivery vans as part of the FedEx Express all-electric fleet of vehicles," said Eric Ridenour, UQM president and CEO.

"Getting our new product out into commercial fleet customers like Boulder EV and FedEx Express is an excellent way to demonstrate performance and efficiency advantages and will set the foundation for future sales growth."
