DENVER - TeleTech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC), a leading global provider of analytics-driven, technology-enabled customer engagement solutions, announced it has created more than 3,000 U.S.-based jobs over the past 18 months and opened six customer experience sites.

TeleTech said the growth is the result of increased client need for customer experience experts to service the health care and financial services industries.

"Our growth in the U.S. reflects the increasing demand for exceptional customer service experience in every industry, especially health care and financial services," said Ken Tuchman, TeleTech chairman and CEO.

"We are proud to be expanding our business in these two complex industries and have invested heavily in sourcing and training to provide resources that are certified to deliver services in these markets."

A local TeleTech site in Greeley also has plans to hire 225 more employees by the end of this year, the company said.

"TeleTech's continued success and expansion has meant hundreds of jobs and economic growth in Colorado," said Gov. John Hickenlooper. "Our reputation as a hub of innovation and technology is due in large part to being home to global companies like TeleTech, who not only prepare for the future but embrace it."
