BOULDER - SendGrid, a leader in email deliverability, announced it has joined the Google Cloud Platform Partner Program as a technology partner.
SendGrid said it is the first non-native email solution available to Google App Engine customers as part of the partner program, giving developers a trusted third-party option for adding transactional email management and delivery to their applications.
The collaboration provides a scalable, transactional email platform and set of services that allow developers to focus on building applications rather than committing time and resources to ensuring app-triggered emails reach their users, the company said.
"The Google Cloud Platform Partner Program enables us to integrate our transactional and marketing mail with the power of the Google Cloud Platform," said Jim Franklin, SendGrid CEO.
"The Google Cloud Platform offers a broad set of application development, cloud storage, large-scale computing and big data capabilities, bringing SendGrid to more than 300,000 developers building on the Google Cloud Platform."
The Google Cloud Platform Partner Program includes technology partners such as ISVs and SaaS vendors, platform companies, management and development tool vendors, analytics providers, business intelligence and ETL vendors and storage specialists.
