Colorado Venture Summit logoDENVER - The second annual Colorado Venture Summit - an invitation-only event - is set for June 11 and will unite CEOs and founders of Colorado's venture-backed tech companies with venture capital investors.

Scott McNealy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, co-founder and chair of Wayin and co-founder and board member of Curriki, is this year's keynote speaker.

"With the well-educated talent pool and supportive, engaged government, the benefits of founding companies and investing in Colorado has never been better," McNealy said.

"It's easy to draw talent to Colorado with the lower cost-of-living, great weather, active lifestyle, amazing schools and commitment to work/life balance that isn't all talk."

The conference will be held at Coors Field with a private dinner followed by an evening event open to all of Colorado's tech company funders and CEOs, organizers said.

The Summit is expected to be limited to about 130 of the area's top CEOs and founders along with local and out-of-region venture investors.

In addition, June 12 will feature individually scheduled site visits to local venture-backed companies. Scheduling and sign-ups will be available before and during the June 11 event.
