Precog acquired by SF-based RichRelevance, will retain and expand Boulder office

Developed by veteran technologists with significant contributions to the open source community, Precog provides an advanced platform that helps companies store, integrate and analyze large volumes of modern, semi-structured data.
As part of the deal, Precog CEO John De Goes, a noted software architect and graduate of Techstars Boulder's 2011 class - along with Precog's entire team of senior engineering leaders - have joined RichRelevance.

RichRelevance said it will integrate Precog's engineering team into data and analytics projects across research and development.
RichRelevance said it will retain and expand Precog's Boulder office, in addition to its San Francisco headquarters and office in New York, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, London, Malmo, Munich and Paris.
