PointAcross acquires Goldmail's technology assets, worldwide presence in 117 nations

DENVER - PointAcross, a provider of voice-over-visual communications, announced it has acquired all of the assets from Goldmail Inc., an online SaaS communications platform.

Goldmail's technology allows users to create customized voice-over-visual eMessages that can easily be shared via email, mobile devices, social networks or the Web, PointAcross said.

Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

PointAcross said factors driving the acquisition included Goldmail's unique approach to eMessaging, its large population of corporate and individual users, and its presence in 117 nations.

Spearheading the new company is CEO Brian Owens, who has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience, including 15 years in the software industry.

Owens, formerly the interim CEO of Goldmail, has been involved with four successful SaaS startups and has held multiple executive roles with several world-class organizations, including IQNavigator, Fieldglass and Adecco.
