DENVER - Ping Identity announced two new executive hires and reaching a milestone of protecting 1 billion identities through its products and services.
Ping said it has hired Ed Murray as executive VP of engineering and David Packer as senior VP of field operations.
Murray brings more than 20 years of experience to scale Ping Identity's growth in management, engineering, R&D and operations. Most recently, he led R&D and SaaS operations at Computerware/Gomez and achieved significant improvements in R&D productivity, product quality and time to market for the company's workforce optimization software.
Packer has more than 20 years of software field operations experience, including leadership roles in sales, alliances, professional services and support. He will oversee the growth and development of Ping's field sales team.
Packer previously led field operations at E2open, a fast-growth supply chain SaaS company that went public in 2012.
Ping's announcement comes after a recent $35 million investment round led by KKR and a first-of-its-kind partnership with Sprint and Google Apps for Work.
