NREL Industry Growth Forum set for Oct. 28-29, Innosphere-supported Canadian firms to present
Friday October 24, 2014

In addition to presenting their business cases for possible investment, NREL's forum will offer networking opportunities and present a program that highlights clean energy technology and business developments.
The event will kick off Oct. 28 at noon with a keynote address by Rick Tempchin, Edison Electric Institute executive director of retail energy services.
On Oct. 29, David Danielson, DOE assistant secretary of energy efficiency and renewable energy, will give the luncheon address at 11:45 a.m.
An awards reception on Oct. 29 at 5:15 p.m. will conclude the forum and include an award for Best Venture and two awards for Outstanding Venture.
Among the companies presenting at the forum will be two Canadian startups - Airex Energy and Aurora Control Technologies - that are part of a six-company contingent of Canadian companies supported by the Innosphere startup incubator in Fort Collins.
Innosphere has been involved with the Canadian Technology Accelerator in Denver for the last three years. The CTA in Denver works in partnership with Innosphere and NREL to connect Canadian businesses to unique resources and contacts needed to accelerate growth.
"Innosphere is proud to be a supporter of the Canadian Technology Accelerator for Sustainable Energy," said Rob Writz, Innosphere clean technologies director.
"This program helps Innosphere highlight Colorado as a leader in the cleantech industry and allows us to build our network of investors and corporate strategics to help all our client companies."
All six of the Canadian companies will get an opportunity to present at Innosphere's office at INDUSTRY Denver on Oct. 27, the day before the NREL forum.
The NREL event will be held at the Marriott City Center, 1701 California St., in downtown Denver.
