BOULDER - Notion, currently in the Techstars Boulder accelerator program, announced it raised $50,000 in a Kickstarter campaign to develop its home intelligence product.

Notion said it raised its $50,000 goal in less than 24 hours.

Using a single sensor packed with sensor technologies, Notion can detect hundreds of household events including water heater leaks, garage door open, lights left on, or if a liquor or gun cabinet is opened.

The multi-function sensor can be placed anywhere and moved to a new location at any time, the company said.

Developed by Ryan Margoles and Brett Jurgens, Notion sends alerts to a phone, tablet or computer via email, text or push notification.

Alerts can also be sent directly to family members, friends or neighbors.
