Level 3 Communications takes home four MEF Ethernet Awards

BROOMFIELD - Level 3 Communications Inc. (NYSE: LVLT) today announced it won awards in four categories from the MEF Ethernet Excellence Awards, which recognize services, technology, professional excellence and innovation in the worldwide Carrier Ethernet community.

Level 3 received the "Retail Service Provider of the Year" award for the Global, CALA and North American regions and the "Wholesale Service Provider of the Year" award for North America.

The awards are presented annually to companies servicing North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region by a panel of judges comprised of regional and global senior analysts.
