The event is intended to provide local investors, entrepreneurs and community leaders with a better understanding of venture capital and its role in supporting fast-growing companies, organizers said.
The event, to be held at The Broadmoor hotel, immediately follows the High Altitude Investors Forum.
"Investors and community leaders here need a better understanding of the opportunities and the role of risk capital in growing more viable local startup companies, and venture capital funds from outside of our community need a better understanding of the great potential to source attractive venture investment opportunities here," said Bill Miller, founder and managing partner of PV Ventures.
"This forum is a fabulous opportunity to connect our community with and learn from an all-star group of successful venture capital investors who are willing to engage with our community."
Participating investors include:
- Melford Carter, principal at Credite Suisse Customized Fund Investment Group
- David Cremin, founder and managing partner of DFJ Frontier
- Kirk Holland, managing director of Access Venture Partners
- Bill McAleer, founder and managing director of Voyager Capital
- Bill Miller, founder and managing partner of PV Ventures
- David Odom, principal of Arsenal Venture Partners
- Gregory Smith, executive director of Colorado PERA
