Gus Hunt, former CIA CTO, will speak March 17 on improving cyber security

LONE TREE - Gus Hunt, former chief technology officer for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, will present a talk on cyber security on March 17 in Lone Tree.
Hunt, who now serves as chief architect for Bridgewater Associates, one of the largest hedge fund managers in the world, will discuss why traditional cybersecurity approaches fall short and which emerging technologies can enable businesses and individuals to regain control of their digital information.
The event is hosted by TiE Rockies and Absio Corporation and will be held at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, from 6-7:30 p.m.
The event was originally scheduled for Feb. 25 but was postponed to March 17.
Tickets are $12 for TiE Rockies members and $20 for others. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored for the new date, organizers said.
