Gus Hunt, former CIA CTO, to offer cybersecurity insight on Feb. 25

LONE TREE - Gus Hunt, former chief technology officer for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, will offer his insight into how to protect business and personal data against cyber theft and attack.

Hunt will present "Your Data, Your Rules: Regaining Control of Your Digital Information" on Feb. 25 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons St. in Lone Tree.

Tickets for the event, hosted by TiE Rockies, are $12 for TiE members and $20 for others.

Hunt's talk will focus on why traditional cybersecurity approaches fall short and which emerging technologies can enable businesses and individuals to regain control of their digital information.

Since leaving the CIA, Hunt has served as chief architect at Bridgewater Associates, one of the largest hedge fund managers in the world.
