BOULDER - ColdQuanta, a developer of ultra-cold, quantum gas technology, announced it has delivered its first complete Table-Top Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC) system.
The system was delivered to Air Force Research Lab researchers at the University of Hawaii with BEC achieved in days, the company said.
"We are thrilled to have delivered our first complete system," said Rainer Kunz, ColdQuanta CEO. "We are particularly excited that the first BEC in Hawaii was achieved using our system."
The system was acquired by the Air Force Research Lab for a joint quantum computing group led by Dr. Jeffrey Yepez.
With a focus on quantum information dynamics, Dr. Yepez investigates quantum computation, quantum simulation, quantum turbulence and quantum imaging and sensing, ColdQuanta said.
