Blue Ocean Collegiate Track pitch competition on May 2 pits 15 college companies vying for $20K

The winner of the Collegiate Track will have the chance to compete against established startups for a $250,000 grand prize in the CSU Blue Ocean Enterprises Challenge on May 24.
The Collegiate Track competition will be held at the Fort Collins Lincoln Center, 417 W. Magnolia St., with semi-finals beginning at 8 a.m. Each team will have 10 minutes to pitch their business and 10 minutes to answer questions from a panel of judges.
Five finalists will be announced at 5 p.m.
Those teams will face a different panel of judges in the finals competition that begins at 6 p.m.
Awards to the top three teams will be made at 9 p.m., with first place receiving $20,000 and $2,500 worth of HP equipment, second place receiving $10,000 and third place receiving $5,000.
The 15 competitors represent the University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Denver, Air Force Academy and 10 teams from CSU.
The competition is open to the public and registration is free but required online or at the door.
