Aleph Objects logoLOVELAND - Aleph Objects, maker of LulzBot 3D printers, announced it will give away 32 desktop printers as part of the company's fourth annual 3D printer giveaway to hackerspaces around the world.

Any community-operated, physical hackerspace where people meet to work on projects is eligible, Aleph Objects said. Applicants must also use and contribute to free software and open source hardware projects and communities.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 1. Winners will be notified via email and then announced on the LulzBot blog and on social media.

Last year, the company awarded 12 printers, making this year's giveaway the biggest ever.

All prior winners are eligible to apply again for this year's giveaway, the company said.

Aleph Objects said its LulzBot Mini was recently named PC Magazine's "Editor's Choice" for mid-range 3D printers, and the company also just released the TAZ 5, the newest generation of its 3D printer.
