Access Venture Partners announces four 2013 exits totaling $1B-plus

WESTMINSTER -- With the recent acquisition of Alert Logic by Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe, the managing directors of
Access Venture Partners have had four exit events representing more than $1 billion in market capitalization in 2013, AVP announced.
The deals realized $65 million and generated approximately a 6X return on invested capital, AVP said.
Earlier this year, NexGen Storage was acquired by Fusion-io, Firehole Composites was acquired by Autodesk and Rally Software had a successful IPO, according to Access Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.
