UQM logoLONGMONT - Zenith Motors LLC has received an EPA Certificate of Conformity for its all-electric commercial van powered by UQM Technologies' PowerPhase Pro 135 electric motors and controllers.

Kentucky-based Zenith Motors recently announced its battery electric vans were the first to receive the certificate for that vehicle class.

The EPA certificate now allows Zenith to begin selling its all-electric van to U.S. customers.

"We are proud to have been chosen by Zenith Motors for their electric vehicle program, and offer our congratulations to the company on achieving this significant step in commercialization," said Eric R. Ridenour, UQM president and CEO.

"We look forward to working with them as they ramp up their production to meet customer demand."

UQM's PowerPhase Pro 135 is part of the company's family of vehicle electrification products.
