Bryan Willson to speak Nov. 11 on his Adventures in Global Energy Innovation at Powerhouse

FORT COLLINS - Dr. Bryan Willson, Colorado State University  mechanical engineering professor and founder and co-director of CSU's Engines and Energy Conversion Lab, will speak Nov. 11 on "Adventures in Global Energy Innovation."

Willson, who is also executive director of the CSU Energy Institute, has worked to push boundaries and implement energy solutions on a global scale, whether it is reducing engine pollution, growing algae for energy, rethinking building design or revamping cookstoves for the developing world.

Willson's talk is part of CSU's President's Community Lecture Series and will be given at 6:30 p.m. at the newly opened Powerhouse Energy Campus, 430 N. College Ave., in downtown Fort Collins.

The Lecture Series is free and open to the public but tickets are required due to limited space.
