Rogue Wave releases Klocwork 10.1, newest version of static analysis tool for developers

With a refreshed analysis engine, improved platform support, and more checkers than ever before, Rogue Wave said Klocwork 10.1 expands developer security, standards and reliability strategy while delivering faster results and useful customizations.

Klocwork 10.1 offers more control for Microsoft Visual Studio users, and developers can now fine-tune when on-the-fly analysis runs. Rogue Wave said the release adds full-issue citing and better performance, creating seamless integration and better control into the environment developers already know.

"The improvements to Visual Studio are in line with our commitment to help developers shorten cycle times," said Jessica Jaclin, Rogue's principal product manager.

"We regularly deliver new product releases, in agile fashion, so developers can deliver their best work."

Rogue said the 10.1 version provides complete support for C# 3.0, improved support for C# 4.0, new and improved metrics and reduced false positives for all C# versions and has new checkers for Android, MISRA, C/C++ and Java.
