IXYS Colorado logoFORT COLLINS - IXYS Corp. (Nasdaq: IXYS), a leader in power semiconductors, mixed-signal and digital ICs for power conversion and motion control applications, announced it is introducing the IXRFD630 and IXRFD631 High Power RF Drivers by IXYS Colorado.

The new driver succeeds the DEIC420 and the DEIC421 and represents the next generation of RF driver for 13.56 and 27.12 Mhz RF power, the company said.

"We are excited to be able to offer the next generation driver for power RF applications," said Stephen Krausse, IXYS Colorado general manager.

"The IXRFD630 and IXRFD631 offer an excellent combination of power, size and performance."

The new drivers offer high peak output current, low output impedance, low quiescent supply current, low propagation delay, high capacitive load drive capability and wide operating voltage range, the company said, with the IXRFD631 also offering Kelvin connections to reduce ground bounce.
