UNC Monfort Entrepreneurial Challenge $50K winners to be revealed April 12

GREELEY -- The three winners of the Sixth Annual University of Northern Colorado Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge will be revealed on Sunday (April 12).
Five finalists in the $50,000 pitch competition presented their business plans to a panel of judges on March 26 at 9News Studio in Denver.
The recorded program will be shown April 12 at 7 p.m. on KTVD Channel 20. The broadcast will also be available for streaming on mcb-echallenge.com, UNC said.
The five finalists included Change Composites, Gamecentrics, LUCAN Technologies, QBLabs and VisePower.com.
The first-place winner received $25,000, second-place $15,000 and third-place $10,000.
Judges for the March 26 event included Peter Adams, Rockies Venture Club executive director; Kevin Ahern, founder, chair and CEO of CIC Bancshares and a UNC alum and Board of Trustees member; and Brad Florin, serial entrepreneur and strategic advisor.
