BOULDER -- Online software company SurveyGizmo today announced the official opening of its first international data storage center in Frankfurt, Germany.
The company opened a support office in London in April, and the new Frankfurt data center represents the next step in its international expansion.
New customers will now be able to choose if they want their survey data stored in the U.S. or Germany, the company said.
“This new data storage center is really all about our customers,” said Christian Vanek, SurveyGizmo’s founder and CEO. “Anyone with concerns about storing information on our U.S. servers now has another choice.
“We think it’s important that people can choose the location that makes them totally comfortable about trusting us with their data.”
Existing customers can also have the option of setting up a new account with European data storage, the company said.
SurveyGizmo said it has customers in more than 195 nations.
