COLORADO -- Colorado has the 8^th fastest Internet speed in the nation, according to a study by HighSpeedInternet.com. 

The Top 10 states with the fastest Internet speeds, according to the study, were:

1. Maryland
2. Delaware
3. New Jersey
4. District of Colombia
5. Virginia
6. Rhode Island
7. Massachusetts
8. Colorado
9. Washington
10. California

The 10 states with the slowest Internet speeds were:

1. Alaska
2. Montana
3. Maine
4. Idaho
5. Wyoming
6. South Dakota
7. Iowa
8. Arkansas
9. Mississippi
10. Hawaii
