DENVER -- Keith Hagen, a 16-year Internet marketing and conversion optimization expert, has been named VP of digital marketing for Denver’s Inc 500 startup and technology selection management software company, SelectHub.
Hagen will be responsible for the end-to-end user journey and experience on SelectHub.com and the success of its digital platforms, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media and content marketing.
“Keith’s hiring aligns with our focus bringing enterprise software buyers a comprehensive and disciplined yet friendly experience with our software selection platform,” said Venkat Devraj, SelectHub CEO and co-founder.
“As more software purchases are led by non-IT personnel, user-friendliness has become increasingly important. Keith’s reputation for relentless user testing, data-driven conversions and his excellent track-record in leading digital marketing programs makes him a great fit for our team.”
Most recently, Hagen was VP of conversion services at digital marketing agency Inflow, a company he joined after the acquisition of ConversionIQ, a consultancy he co-founded.
Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Hagen moved to Colorado in 2000 after a successful stint as an Internet development consultant to take on an eCommerce position with Gates Corporation.
Shortly after, he was promoted to guide online B2B strategies and programs for the Gates Group. Hagen then joined Melco Oerlikon as director of eCommerce prior to the founding of ConversionIQ in 2010.
Among his new responsibilities at SelectHub, Hagen said he is most looking forward to evolving an already recognizable brand into the foremost leader in the enterprise technology selection management market.
“According to leading industry analysts, technology spend worldwide will be in excess of $3 trillion in 2018 with the enterprise software segment growing faster than others,” said Hagen.

In line with the SelectHub growth plans, Hagen will be instrumental increasing the company’s online visibility and leading users to the best experience and results when selecting software, the company said.
