FORT COLLINS -- Rockies Venture Club and the City of Fort Collins will host a special event celebrating Northern Colorado startups on Oct. 5.
“Accelerate Northern Colorado – Angel Investors and Venture Capital” will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. at Galvanize Fort Collins, 242 Linden St.
RVC said entrepreneurial leaders in Northern Colorado will provide an understanding of how all the pieces link together to create an environment that supports startups, creates jobs and accelerates economic development in the region.
RVC said through a grant from the City of Fort Collins it is offering free entry to the event (a $49 value) to all members of the region’s entrepreneurial community.
The event agenda:
5--5:50 p.m. -- Networking/Happy Hour
5:50--6:05 p.m. -- Welcome & introductions
6:05--6:45 p.m. -- Fort Collins Community Leaders Panel
Panelists will include Sam Houghteling, City of Fort Collins; Charisse Bowen, Galvanize Fort Collins; Jes Rawley, CSU Institute for Entrepreneurship; Terry Opgenorth, CSU Ventures; Jesse Elliot, The Music District; and Alan Curits, Innosphere.
Panel moderator will be Denny Otsuga, Rockies Venture Club.
The event will also include Investment pitches from four companies:
- Stow- 6:45--6:55 p.m.
- Vartega- 6:55--7:05 p.m.
- KromaTiD -7:05--7:15 p.m.
- BillGO -7:15--7:25 p.m.
