BOULDER -- A multi-state Regional Clean Energy Innovation Summit  is set for Sept. 19 at the University of Colorado-Boulder Sustainability, Environment and Energy Complex, 4001 Discovery Drive in Boulder.CU_logoUSE_1

The event will explore the formation of a Regional Clean Energy Innovation Partnership. Hosting the event will be the Colorado Energy Research Collaboratory,  a partnership of Colorado State University, CU-Boulder, Colorado School of Mines and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden (NREL).

An eight-year Collaboratory economic impact report prepared by the Business Research Division at the CU-Boulder Leeds School of Business will be released.

The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with remarks by Gov. John Hickenlooper at 12:15 p.m. followed by Franklin Orr, U.S. DOE Under Secretary for Science and Energy.
