LOUISVILLE -- Panacea Life Sciences announced it launched F.A.S.T, a tablet easily absorbed under the tongue containing the highest amount of hemp oil per sublingual product currently available on the market.
"Each step of our process from sourcing plant material, to processing and manufacturing, is quality controlled to the same degree as a pharmaceutical drug," said Dr. James Baumgartner, Panacea president.
"When people buy our products, they can be assured each dose contains the described specific amount of hemp oil."
Panacea said it launched F.A.S.T as an alternative to conventional pharmaceuticals that often have side effects.
"People are looking for natural alternatives to alleviate conditions, such as chronic pain, anxiety, or sleep issues instead of taking addictive opiate-based painkillers and medications that cause unpleasant side effects," Baumgartner said.
"Our involvement in clinical trials and their results drive the development of Panacea products."
Panacea also announced the availability of Panacea Equine, now available for veterinarians, horse owners and those in the performance horse industry.
"Similar to humans, horses suffer from a wide range of health issues, especially for aging and performance horses," said Baumgartner.
"Extracted from industrial hemp plants, the phytocannabinoids in Panacea Equine provide potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties to help horses recover from exercise-induced joint damage and alleviate the symptoms of osteoarthritis."
Hemp oil has also has been shown to have calming effects to reduce anxiety.
Unlike other hemp oil products available, Panacea said its products contain zero THC, the psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant, which means no "high" feeling.
Panacea Equine offers an alternative to conventional veterinary-prescribed medication and intravenous injections -- often resulting in adverse side effects.
Provided as a chewable hemp oil tablet, Panacea Life Sciences said it offers horse owners and those in the horse industry an all-natural, non-invasive treatment method.
