Otter + Pop receives TIME's 'Best Invention' nod

FORT COLLINS --  A new innovation from OtterBox and PopSockets was among an elite group of products honored by TIME in the publication's 2019 Best Inventions roundup. 

OtterBox Otter + Pop cases were selected as a special mention in the annual competition of the year's most innovative new products.

TIME's evaluation takes into account key factors such as originality, creativity, influence, ambition and effectiveness.

First introduced in early 2019, the product was born from a collaboration between OtterBox, the No. 1-selling smartphone case in the U.S., and Boulder-based PopSockets, the innovator of PopGrip.

Otter + Pop features an OtterBox case with an integrated PopGrip. The PopGrip is recessed into the case, so it sits flush when not extended for use. 

Additionally, the PopTop is swappable, making the case endlessly customizable.
