FORT COLLINS -- Galvanize Fort Collins, the newest addition to the Denver-based Galvanize entrepreneurial community, opens today in downtown Fort Collins at 242 Linden St.
Galvanize also has campuses in downtown Denver, Boulder, San Francisco, Seattle and London.
The newest Galvanize is opening with 33 companies and more than 100 individual members in the completely renovated two-story building that formerly housed the Sunset Events Center. Galvanize FoCo is being managed by Charisse Bowen, former director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship in Colorado State University’s College of Business.
"We're proud to officially open our doors to Fort Collins' energetic tech community," said Jim Deters, Galvanize CEO and founder. "Galvanize is thrilled to help learners and founders level up their skills by providing access to education, connections and resources. This is our newest location, and we're excited to add Fort Collins to the fast-growing network of Galvanize campuses."
InnovatioNews will also have an office in the new Galvanize FoCo space.
Initial Galvanize members include established companies like Planning Edge and Jobzology, and rising startups like Community Funded. In coming months, Galvanize will open a public cafe, launch its six-month Galvanize Full Stack web development program and welcome more startups to its campus.
