The symposium’s theme is “Key Components for Sustainable Industry-Community Collaboration” and look at how the oil-and-gas industry can be environmentally and economically sustainable.
The Institute said the expected outcome of the symposium is an examination of Colorado as a microcosm for developing data-driven solutions.
Fred Krupp, president of the Environmental Defense Fund, will be the symposium’s keynote speaker on Oct. 27.
Six panel discussions are set for Oct. 28, including sessions on assuring clean air and water and resolving conflicts between state and federal policies and goals.
The symposium is free to attend but registration is required here.
