DENVER --  Faction,  an enterprise-class Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud provider offering hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, announced  CRN®, a brand of  The Channel Company,  has named Faction as a Top 10 service provider on its  2016 Data Center 100 listFaction_logoUSE

The annual lineup recognizes service providers who excel at powering, supporting and protecting the complex and demanding data centers on which today's businesses rely.

CRN editors select companies for the Data Center 100 list on the basis of multiple criteria, including each company's overall impact on the market, its influence on the channel as a whole, and the types of technology and services it makes available to its partners

Faction said it was chosen for the Data Center 100 list because of its unique business model that sells exclusively to and through service providers -- enabling VARs and service providers to rapidly harness the Faction cloud, without competition, through its no-compete sales promise.

In addition, Faction launched many new tools, resources and services to support its channel partners and service providers, including:

  • The company expanded its product portfolio with its Faction Cloud bloc, a modular building "bloc" that allows Faction partners to customize their private, public or hybrid cloud. This allows each service provider or reseller to customize their cloud to their specifications, with reservations, protected storage, and many other unique features.
  • Faction introduced its Cloud Marketplace -- a simplified purchasing system that connects existing customers and channel partners to various cloud service providers and approved vendors.
  • Faction created the Faction Advanced Solutions Team (FAST), which specializes in particularly complicated cloud requirements, allowing customers to use experts in the field to establish customized networking solutions.

"Faction is honored to be recognized as a leading service provider on the CRN Data Center 100 list, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to innovate, as well as enable our partners to extend the best in cloud computing to their end-user customers," said Luke Norris, Faction CEO.

"The Faction cloud is built for service providers, by service providers and our team is dedicated to ensuring that our customers have best-in-class service and deep control over their cloud infrastructure. Every Faction partner has access to a wide array of platforms and sales enablement tools to ensure success."
