DENVER -- EY announced Andrew Cousin, CEO of Circle Graphics, producer of large-format digital graphics, received the Entrepreneur of the Year® 2017 Award in the Products & Manufacturing category in the Mountain Desert region.
The award recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, EY said.
Cousin was selected by an independent panel of judges and the award was presented at an event at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on June 22.
“It is quite the honor, as it is humbling, to be a part of such an exceptional community of finalists and honorees,” said Cousin.
“This recognition is really the result of the collective effort of the amazing team at Circle Graphics. The company has transformed into more than just a billboard manufacturer. We have used our technology, engineering, and R&D expertise to not only drive efficiencies for us and our customers but to allow us to enter additional markets: transit, wall décor, and business product markets.
“This expertise has also allowed Circle Graphics to continue to grow and engineer new products within the environmentally-friendly product segment, such as billboard coatings that help reduce smog. I believe that our continued growth is a testament that if you seek continuous improvement and listen to your customers, success will follow.”
Since 1986, EY said it has honored entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, the spirit of innovation and discipline have driven their companies’ success, transformed their industries and made a positive impact on their communities.
As a Mountain Desert region award winner, Cousin is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur of the Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, CA, on Nov. 18.
