Todorov will be based in Loveland, where he will oversee the technical team in setting up EWI Colorado, a new center for advanced process monitoring and control technologies.

EWI said Todorov has more than 30 years of experience in the development and industrial application of NDE and electronic measurement technologies. Since coming to EWI in 2004, his main focus has been advanced and specialized NDE methods and techniques for a broad range of applications.

“Over the past decade, Evgueni has been a central figure in our NDE activities and has positioned EWI as a leader in electro-magnetic inspection methods,” said Tom McGaughy, EWI’s director of technology.

“With his technical expertise and EWI team experience, he is the ideal person to lead our NDE group and spearhead our efforts at EWI Colorado."

Todorov will relocate from EWI’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio to Loveland in early summer to start building the new center’s advanced quality measurement capabilities.

The facility will open its doors in September 2016.

“EWI Colorado seeks to make meaningful investments in its NDE capabilities and craft a new vision for developing the next compelling advancements in this field and the overall field of process sensing and monitoring,” said Chris Conrardy, EWI VP of technology.

“Evgueni will play a lead role in establishing and executing that vision and positioning EWI Colorado as a national and global leader in developing and maturing technologies to improve first-time quality for manufacturers in all industries."
