Denver ranked best place in America for business

DENVER -- Denver is the best place in the nation to start a business or pursue a career, according to a Forbes study ranking the top business cities in the U.S.

The rankings were made on the basis of cost-of-business, job growth and education.

Colorado had five cities on the Forbes list. In addition to Denver, they are:

• No. 10—Fort Collins
• No. 26—Boulder
• No. 33—Greeley
• No. 37—Colorado Springs

The Top 10 cities on the list are:

• 1—Denver
• 2—Raleigh, N.C.
• 3—Portland, Ore.
• 4—Provo, UT
• 5—Atlanta, GA
• 6—Seattle
• 7—Salt Lake City
• 8—Indianapolis
• 9—Warren, MI.
• 10—Fort Collins
