Conspire, Rachio on ‘25 Hottest Under the Radar Startups in America’ list

NEW YORK CITY -- Two Colorado-based companies have been listed on Business Insider’s “25 Hottest Under the Radar Startups in America.”Business_Insider_logoUSE

Boulder-based Conspire  was founded by Paul McReynolds and Alex Devkar and received $3.5 million in funding from TechStars and Tahoma Ventures.

The company helps customers get introduced to a person on LinkedIn by using the customer’s email account to find someone in their contact list who can help with an introduction.

Also making the list was Denver-based Rachio, which makes a smart sprinkler system that lets a user water their lawn from a smartphone.

Rachio’s Iro app helps users maintain a beautiful lawn without overwatering or wasting water.

The company was founded by Franz Garsombke, Chris Klein and Matt Reisman and has received $3.4 million from Galvanize Ventures, Jon Hallett, Jordan Mendall and Kevin Colleran, Miramar Venture Partners, Raino Zoller, SK Ventures, Slow Ventures, Urban.Us, FG Angels, Hany Nada and Jeff Richards.
