Wasserman has deep experience in higher education, spending the last seven years at the University of Colorado and most recently as vice chancellor.

Community Funded is a crowd-fundraising software platform vendor focused on higher education, adding seven new accounts this year including Colorado State University, University of Colorado, University of Wyoming, Oklahoma State University and Portland State University.

“I’m excited to share Community Funded with colleges and universities,” Wasserman said. “I was an early user of their crowd-fundraising platform and I know first-hand its power to unlock new donors, more funding and new projects.”

“We’re thrilled to have Matt Wasserman on board,” said McCabe Callahan, Community Funded’s founder and CEO. “He bridges the gap between old and new ways of fundraising, and he’ll be able to help our clients leverage crowd-fundraising to exceed their development goals.”
